Required Documents (KYC)
Documents required under Japan's Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds.
Under Japan's Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, we ask you to submit the documents below. After screening, we send an address confirmation document by non-forwardable registered mail to the address on your documents. (For corporations: to the company, the representative/beneficial owner, and the transaction officer.)

*Beneficial owner: an individual with controlling influence over the company — e.g. holding more than 25% of voting rights, or exercising control through investment, loans, or transactions.
*Transaction officer: a person entrusted by the representative or beneficial owner with all contracting and transactions.

Acceptable Identity Documents
DocumentsPlease submit any two of the following:
| Driver's licence (both sides) / driving record certificate / residence certificate (juminhyo) |
| Health insurance card (mask the insurer number) / maternal & child health handbook |
| My Number card (front only) / residence card (zairyu card) / passport (including the address page) |
| Disability certificate / national pension handbook / seal registration certificate / small vessel licence, etc. |
*We cannot deliver to addresses with an active mail-forwarding order — please submit documents showing your current address.
*If your current address differs from your documents (e.g. after moving), submit one document from the list above plus one supplementary document (a utility bill issued within 6 months) — two in total.

- Avoid blurry or reflective images, or images that cut off part of the document
- Documents with an expiry date must be valid; documents without one must have been issued within 6 months
- Make sure your current address is shown — we cannot deliver if a mail-forwarding order is active
