About the Offices

Only one room, at the Roppongi office, is fully enclosed. All other rooms are independent, lockable rooms with an open transom — a gap between the walls and the ceiling required by fire regulations.

Yes, any time you like. A microwave and a free water server are available. We only ask that you avoid strong-smelling food out of consideration for other members.

Yes — printing, copying, and scanning are all available.

All buildings are non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are available, though their locations vary by office.

Nameplates are available for a fee. Location and pricing vary by office — please ask us for details.

Pricing

Yes, as a rule it is refunded in full. It is only drawn upon in cases of property damage or late payment.

None at all.

Services & Options

Yes, during staffed hours. They handle mail and receive your visitors, so you're covered while you're out. Outside staffed hours, members handle these themselves.

Yes, during staffed hours. We take a message and let you know by email.

Meeting Rooms

Yes. In meeting rooms and meeting booths, we ask that you wear earphones.

Through the booking system on the member portal — check availability, book, and cancel online.

Yes, free of charge. Please request them when you book the room.

Contracts

Yes. You can sign under your personal name and switch the contract to your company name after incorporation.

Yes. We decline businesses that violate public order and morals, gambling-related businesses (including public racing), multi-level marketing and similar schemes, and businesses involving fraudulent information products.

The Drop-in plan starts the same day. Virtual Office, Private, and Booth plans start after screening, identity verification, and signing — usually within 5–7 business days.

Under Japan's Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds: individuals need two identity documents (driver's licence, residence certificate, passport, etc.); corporations need a copy of the certified company registry (within 6 months of issue) plus two identity documents for the representative. *A seal registration certificate is also required except for electronic contracts.

It depends on the plan. Private & Booth plans renew every 3 months and cannot be cancelled during the first 4 months. Virtual Office & Drop-in plans renew monthly and cannot be cancelled during the first 2 months.

Request cancellation on the member portal; our staff will then contact you about the procedure. Private & Booth plans require 3 months' notice. Virtual Office & Drop-in plans end at the end of the month following your request.

Private / Booth: request in July → earliest end is the end of October

Not while your company remains registered at an odorana Office address — please move your registered address first.

Steps for going dormant: 1) File a relocation registration to another address. 2) Submit the updated company registry to us. 3) File the change/dormancy notification with the tax office having jurisdiction over the new address.

Yes, at any time. For Private & Booth plans, the contract requires 3 months' notice.

Mail Handling

We notify you by email within 3 business days of arrival, and you can view photos of each item on the member portal.

Yes — request forwarding with one tap on the member portal. You pay actual postage plus a ¥100 handling fee (packaging included), billed with your monthly fee.

Methods: up to A5/2cm/1kg — Smart Letter; up to A4/3cm/4kg — Letter Pack Light; heavier — courier service. *We choose the method based on size and weight.

Up to two weeks, up to 50 letters and 3 parcels. Items not collected or arranged by the deadline are forwarded to your registered address.
